The Cleveland Browns have made the bulk of their expected moves in free agency, and our NFL Reacts poll this past week asked fans to grade the team’s first two reported signings.

Let’s start with OG Zion Johnson, formerly of the Los Angeles Chargers. 56% of fans graded the signing as a B, with 24% giving it a C, 15% an A, 3% a D, and 2% an F. Tom Moore of DBN also looked at how members of the national media graded that signing, and while one person gave it an A- for his versatility and durability, the consensus among others was more along the C range due to his issues in pass protection.

When it came to LB Quincy Williams, who was essentially a direct replacement for LB Devin Bush, the grades were higher on an overall basis among fans. 46% of fans graded the signing with a B, but 38% graded it an A, followed by 14% with a C, 1% with a D, and 1% with an F. Williams has that greater degree of consistency during his career, while Johnson has the run blocking vs. pass blocking trade off that you just have to live with.

Despite some of the Browns’ free agent additions, their odds have taken a hit. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Browns’ odds to win the AFC Championship was 55/1 prior to free agency, but now sits at 100/1.
