Chris Jericho has reunited with a man he is very familiar with. On social media, the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion shared a selfie with Kevin Owens.

Jericho and Owens formed a tag team in 2016. That year at SummerSlam, they defeated Enzo and Cass, marking the beginning of a memorable alliance between the two Canadians. Jericho also introduced “The List of Jericho”, where he wrote down the names of people who annoyed him. Y2J played a crucial role during Owens’ first and only reign as the Universal Champion, helping him retain the title on multiple occasions. The Prizefighter repaid the favour by assisting Jericho to win the United States Championship from Roman Reigns in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match.

On Instagram, Jericho shared a selfie with Owens, recalling their days together on Monday Night RAW, when they addressed each other as best friends.

“Best Friends!” wrote Jericho.

Bully Ray wants Chris Jericho to return to WWE

Bully Ray believes that Chris Jericho’s work in AEW is done, and it is time for him to return to WWE.

Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Ray said that Jericho had done a lot for Tony Khan’s promotion, and there is nothing left for him to achieve there. The veteran wants Y2J to finish his career in WWE, as he said the following:

“In my opinion, Jericho’s work in AEW is done. There’s nothing left for him to do there. He has been as credible as an in-ring wrestler as he has been a sports entertainer (…) It’s time for Chris Jericho to move on and finish out his career, if he wants to finish out his career, in the company that made him the biggest star ever, which is the WWE,”

Jericho hasn’t appeared on AEW TV for a while, and also disbanded The Learning Tree before his hiatus.
