The Kansas City Chiefs’ offseason has been underway for a while, and for the first time in years, they aren’t using this time to prepare for the Super Bowl. Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce is using his extra time to get some more swings in, as he put on a show recently on the golf course.

Earlier in the week, while competing at the WM Phoenix Open in Scottsdale, Arizona, Kelce hit a shot on the 16th hole that landed just feet away from the cup. The crowd on hand erupted in support of the Chiefs’ superstar, who celebrated with the other golfers.

Kelce is no stranger to the golf course, having competed in numerous celebrity tournaments over the years. His partner in many of these tournaments, Patrick Mahomes, was paying attention to Kelce’s impressive shot and responded immediately on social media. The two-time league MVP made sure to clarify that he was talking about the golf moment.

The decision about Kelce’s playing future hasn’t been made, as he prefers to keep it private. The eleven-time Pro Bowler didn’t attend the event this year, further fueling speculation about next season.
