Casey Jarvis picked a good time to get hot.
The 22-year-old won the 2026 South African Open at Stellenbosch Golf Club on Sunday, his second straight victory on the DP World Tour. This one, however, came with significant stakes, as it earned Jarvis spots in the 2026 Masters in April and the 2026 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale in July.

What a week at his national open.
“I feel on top of the world in this moment,” Jarvis said. “I feel absolutely incredible. “To win in front of my home crowd in my home Open is just absolutely fantastic, I’ve got no words.
Casey Jarvis of South Africa poses for a photo with the trophy following victory on day four of the Investec South African Open Championship 2026 at Stellenbosch Golf Club on March 01, 2026 in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
Jarvis rolled in four birdies Sunday to win by three shots, becoming the third golfer to win three DP World Tour events this season, joining Jayden Schaper and Patrick Reed.
Not even a 35-minute lightning delay on the 18th tee could disarm Jarvis of his second straight win. Hennis du Plessis was the closest chaser throughout the afternoon but never truly threatened Jarvis. Even with a chip-in birdie on the 17th hole, Du Plessis hit his approach into the drink on the closing hole, allowing Jarvis to finally sigh and allow his mind to wander down Magnolia Lane.

“I just had a slight feeling from the start of the week that something crazy was going to happen and it’s incredible,” Jarvis said.
