Wanted to give everyone an update on the Caleb Madness Bracket: Selecting Caleb Williams best play of the 2025 season. We selected 16 plays and are having you, the Bears fan, vote for the best play of the year.

There was voting on two matchups per day, Monday through Thursday of this week. Next week, there will be two Elite 8 matchups on Monday, two Elite 8 matchups on Tuesday, 1 Final Four matchup on Wednesday, and 1 Final Four matchup on Thursday. The Caleb Williams championship will take place on Monday, April 6th.

Here’s a look at where the bracket stands:

Let’s take a look at the Elite 8

Jahdae Walker vs Cole Kmet

The first Elite 8 matchup on Monday will be Jahdae Walker’s game-tying touchdown against the Green Bay Packers against the Cole Kmet touchdown heave to tie the game against the LA Rams.

Would have to figure the Cole Kmet play advances here, but people love Jahdae Walker and love that play, and that’s why we play the games. It wouldn’t shock me if Walker has a better showing than fans would expect.

Luther Burden Flea Flicker vs The Catch II

The second Elite 8 matchup that fans can vote on this Monday will be the Luther Burden flea flicker against the Dallas Cowboys, against “The Catch II,” which, of course, is DJ Moore’s catch in the corner of the end zone against the Cleveland Browns that mimics the Joe Montana to Dwight Clark famous “Catch” from 45 years ago.

I think this one is a toss-up. Neither play is a playoff game, which certainly sways people’s opinions, and while the Moore play is excellent, fans do love that Luther Burden play, and that was really the first PLAY of the 2025 Chicago Bears after two messy games to start the season. I figure DJ Moore’s catch will advance, but this one could be a coin flip.

DJ Moore vs DJ Moore

This matchup will be featured on Tuesday. The first play is the phenomenal game-winning overtime catch against the Green Bay Packers, and the other one is the go-ahead touchdown catch against the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card round. Two Moore plays. Both against the Packers. How does this one shake out?

Tough to imagine the game-winner against the Packers in the regular season doesn’t grab this one, but this is the playoffs against the regular season, so anything is certainly possible.

Colston Loveland vs Jumpman to Odunze

Our final Elite 8 matchup that you can vote on Tuesday will be the Colston Loveland game winner against the Cincinnati Bengals, against the Caleb Williams 4th down Jumpman throw to Rome Odunze that saved the Bears’ season against the Green Bay Packers in the wild card weekend.

The Loveland play is great, and I actually think, from Caleb’s perspective, it’s underrated, but I think the Odunze catch ends up being the biggest blowout of round 2.

Make sure you check out the matchups on Monday to vote!
