Cagliari have allowed Fiorentina to train at their training ground today, as their Serie A match has been rescheduled for Wednesday following Pope Francis’ death.
Multiple sources in Italy, including RAI and Sport Mediaset, claim Cagliari have allowed their next rivals, Fiorentina, to use their training ground to prepare for a rescheduled Serie A meeting on Wednesday.
The match was meant to be played on Monday, but it was called off hours before kick-off following Pope Francis’ death.

Fiorentina boarded flights back to Florence when the game was cancelled on Monday, but they managed to abandon the flight in time when it was officially rescheduled by Lega Serie A a few hours later.
The Tuscans failed to find a suitable pitch to prepare for the match, but Cagliari allowed them to use their facilities and training pitch on Tuesday morning. This means the Rossoblu will take to the field in the afternoon.
Three other games originally scheduled for Monday will be played tomorrow instead: Torino-Udinese, Parma-Juventus and Genoa-Lazio, all with kick-off time at 18:00 CET.
