Worlds Collide was expected to face All Out, with all the rumors of the company having used the AAA vs WWE event to counterprogram AEW. However, it appears that their secret plans were for something else entirely. The Worlds Collide event is taking place in Illinois tomorrow, at the same time as AEW All Out. While All Out is taking place at the Now Arena in Hoffman Estates, Worlds Collide is in the All State Arena in Rosemont. While this may not hurt AEW in the long run, it certainly gives fans the option to see a AAA event instead of an AEW one in Illinois.

Fans expected to see the show live at home as well, with it airing on YouTube like all of the AAA shows in the past. However, as the date drew near, there was no announcement of a live broadcast. Now, on SmackDown, the company announced that while the show will not be broadcast live against AEW All Out, instead, a taped version of the show, featuring top stars like CM Punk, Dominik Mysterio, and others, will be airing on Wednesday at 7 PM ET on YouTube. This means that the event will be going up against AEW Dynamite.

With one show, the company is not only thinking of causing AEW some issues at All Out, but also for Dynamite. Fans are also more likely to tune into Worlds Collide against Dynamite than they are to tune into a premium event like All Out. It remains to be seen how this plays out, but this is sure to cause some backlash among fans.
