On the phone, Stone was heard talking to someone who confirmed they were a free agent. This seemed to appease the NXT General Manager, who said he wanted to talk. He informed Montana about his number-one contender’s match the following week, before walking off to continue his phone conversation.

“So you’re a free agent, and you’re available? Perfect! No I definitely want to talk,” Stone said.

The segment had the WWE Universe buzzing, with several names of free agents being thrown around on social media. Some of the names being speculated are Hiromu Takahashi, Richard Holliday, Enzo Amore, and Mara Sade, among others.

Interestingly, all of these names have been linked to the global juggernaut in recent months and weeks.

Robert Stone sends message to WWE NXT debutant

Speaking of interesting new joinees, Reina Volcan (fka Nikki Blackheart) also made her debut in NXT recently.

The wrestler hailing from the Dominican Republic defeated Skylar Raye on the July 21 episode of NXT to mark her in-ring debut in the Triple-H-led company.

The General Manager of NXT took to X/Twitter to praise the 29-year-old debutant in her dominant display against Raye. He said it had been a pleasure to get to know her in recent months and called her a hard worker who had a great attitude and a bright future.

“A hard worker. A great attitude. A bright future. Pleasure getting to know @reinavolcan_wwe these past few months and congrats on your NXT debut this past Tuesday,” Robert Stone wrote.

The NXT General Manager claimed he was cooking, and for now it remains to be seen who else makes their way to the developmental brand’s roster in the weeks ahead.
