Amidst growing concerns regarding Konnan’s health, WWE Hall of Famer Lex Luger has publicly sent his prayers to the wrestling Legend. He replied to a Twitter post that reported about Konnan’s health.

Konnan rose to prominence during the 90s in World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He was a member of the New World Order’s nWo Wolfpac sub group. He was also in the Filthy Animals faction alongside Rey Mysterio. He also inducted Mysterio into the 2023 Class of Hall of Fame.

Konnan was inducted into the Lucha Libre AAA Hall of Fame last year. The event took place as part of TripleMania XXXIII. He famously gave a long speech at the induction and thanked all the people who supported him in his journey. The star is a legend in the world of Mexican wrestling and currently serves as part of AAA’s creative team.
