Rhea Ripley is currently facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines, recovering from a knee injury. She hasn’t been seen on television since the June 5, 2026, edition of SmackDown.

Mami last wrestled at a live event on June 3, 2026, where she teamed up with Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair against the Fatal Influence in a six-woman tag team match.

Her last televised match came against Jade Cargill at Clash in Italy on July 31, 2026.

Her injury put her WWE Women’s Championship reign in serious jeopardy. However, the creative team decided not to strip her of the title and instead crowned Chelsea Green interim champion in her absence.

The Eradicator recently underwent successful surgery to repair her torn meniscus. She is now officially on the road to recovery. She has been spotted wearing a large brace on her right leg.

Fans have been wondering whether she will return in time for Wrestlepalooza: Perth.

According to WrestleVotes, WWE is hopeful that Rhea Ripley will be back in her home country of Australia.

There’s no word yet on whether she will be healthy enough to return to in-ring competition.

“Yeah. Back to Australia they go. I know they’re hopeful she can make it. If she’s healthy enough, she’ll travel over there.” (H/T – Ringsidenews)

WWE Hall of Famer wants to face Rhea Ripley

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Trish Stratus said she would be open to getting in the ring with Rhea Ripley if the opportunity presents itself.

“Rhea Ripley, I’d like to fight Rhea. I’d like to fight her, I could take her,” she said.

It’s been over a year since fans saw Trish Stratus compete inside the squared circle.

In her last match, she unsuccessfully challenged then-WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton at Evolution 2025. She remains open to having one more match, but only if she can give her 100%.

A potential retirement match against Mami in 2027 could give her a proper sendoff that she deserves.
