WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is set to take place in less than two days, and there has been a massive last-minute change. The change was strictly done for the Indian viewing audience, as Sony Sports Network will once again broadcast the show live.
Earlier this year, Netflix became the home of the Stamford-based promotion under Triple H and Nick Khan’s regime internationally when all weekly shows and premium live events began streaming on the global juggernaut. However, Indian fans had to wait a couple of months as the shows became available on the streaming service in April 2025.
Recently, Sony Sports Network revealed that the 41st edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event will be broadcast on their exclusive platforms. The show will be streamed live on Sony Sports 1, 3, and 4 and on the Sony LIV application from 5:30 AM IST on Sunday, 2nd November.
Sony Sports Network and WWE have a long-standing relationship in India for providing sports entertainment, and Indian fans can catch all the action, including multiple championship defenses from Salt Lake City on Sunday.
Sony Sports Network was home to WWE in India for several years
Previously, WWE was not easily accessible in India, requiring fans to make extra efforts to watch their favorite superstars in the Stamford-based promotion and follow the weekly product. In 2002, Sony Sports Network acquired the broadcasting rights from the sports juggernaut for the Indian audience.
The relationship between the two parties grew further as the companies collaborated to cater to the audience by creating subshows like Sunday Dhamaal and Now India. Moreover, the weekly action was dubbed into different languages such as Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu to broadcast all over India.
While the Stamford-based promotion’s contract with the Sony Sports Network ended earlier this year after a run of over two decades, fans can still catch Saturday Night’s Main Event in Utah on any Sony Sports channel or the Sony LIV application.
