While there were some questions about whether WWE would have another event in Saudi Arabia this year, ahead of the 2027 WrestleMania, there is now a report confirming that the company is returning to the country for a big event. PW Insider Elite has reported that WWE will be heading to Saudi Arabia for the November Premium Live Event, where they will be hosting the annual Crown Jewel show.
The report went on to state that the current plan was for the men’s world champions and the women’s champions to face each other in what has become the traditional match for the Crown Jewel title belt.
WWE already has an event scheduled for November 28th, where they will be hosting Survivor Series. The one before that is set to take place on October 10. This leaves a major gap between the events where Crown Jewel will be scheduled.
This will be the third Saudi Arabian PLE for the year, alongside the Royal Rumble and Night of Champions. Even though there’s a long time to go until November, and a lot of things can change by that time, the current setup would see Liv Morgan face Chelsea Green as the two women’s champions, and Roman Reigns face CM Punk as the two men’s champions.
It remains to be seen if this changes by the time that the event rolls around. With multiple events until then, it’s likely there will be some changes. Green is also currently out with an injury and has 30 days to get herself in order so that she can compete and defend her title – a timeline set by the SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis.
