At Lubbock, Texas, Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre had a huge match for the Undisputed WWE Championship. The two stars have been going at it for some time and even while Rhodes is getting ready to challenge for the No. 1 Contendership for the title at Elimination Chamber, so that he can face McIntyre at WrestleMania, he has been getting shots at the house shows over the recent few weeks.

The House Show in Lubbock saw a similar opportunity for the star and he even won the match, but it was not the sort of win that he will be wanting to celebrate. Drew McIntyre managed to get disqualified because the referee saw him hit Rhodes with a steel chair. This meant that Rhodes won the match, but unfortunately, he was not winning the Undisputed WWE title, which was the goal behind the match.

McIntyre tried to shake hands with Rhodes after the match came to an end. He begged him to not hit him. He was trying to get out of the situation without getting hurt, but that was not to be.

Rhodes hit him with the Cross Rhodes and placed him on a table that was already in the ring. He then went to the top rope and hit him with the splash, taking him out and putting him through the table.

Should Rhodes get the chance to face him at WrestleMania, this is a match that he will likely keep in mind so that he gets to get out of the bout with the title.
