In a recent report by AS, it has been revealed that while Angelo Stiller is not Real Madrid’s top transfer target, the club are still seriously considering his signing.

The key reason behind this interest lies in Xabi Alonso’s familiarity with the player and the ease with which a deal can be completed, thanks to Stiller’s connection with Toni Kroos’ agency, Sports360 GmbH.

Although Stiller may not be a headline-grabbing name, Real Madrid are believed to have already reached a verbal agreement with the German midfielder for a move this summer. The proposed contract would tie him to the Spanish giants until 2030.

Alonso’s trust and agency ties help the move

The driving force behind this interest is Alonso, who knows Stiller very well, having tracked his progress over the past three years in the Bundesliga.

Stiller also came through Bayern Munich’s youth system, which speaks volumes about his training and discipline.

It is said that the new Real Madrid manager values players who understand his system and philosophy, and with Stiller, there is no uncertainty about whether he would fit in.

Another major advantage is Stiller’s representation. He is signed to Sports360 GmbH, the same agency that handled Toni Kroos’ career.

Now, with Kroos himself playing a role within the agency, the relationship with Real Madrid is stronger than ever. That connection could help fast-track negotiations and ensure smooth talks between both parties.

Modest club means easier deal

Stuttgart’s failure to qualify for European competition this season could make the 24-year-old more open to leaving the Bundesliga.

Add to that the fact that Stuttgart are not known for holding out for sky-high fees, and it is clear why this transfer makes sense from a financial standpoint.

With Alonso’s backing, a reliable agency connection, and no major roadblocks from the selling club, Real Madrid are looking at Stiller as a smart, strategic signing, not necessarily a headline act, but someone who could quietly become a key part of the team’s long-term future.
