Interestingly, during the match, Kai paid tribute to her former Damage CTRL teammate by using Bayley’s finisher, Bayley-to-belly. A fan on X shared a clip of the move and tagged The Role Model to get her reaction to Dakota using her finisher. The former Women’s Champion responded, saying that this moment made her blush.

Being honest, the former leader of Damage CTRL agreed that it bothers her a “little bit” and she thinks sometimes she could do better in certain areas.
“A little bit? Yeah. Uh, it’s more of like I feel con like I love to constantly evolve and like if I’m in these spots where I feel um I know I could be doing better or I know I could be doing more um I just try to figure out what I can do with what’s in front of me,” she said.
That being said, it will be interesting to see what’s next for Dakota Kai in her professional wrestling career and if she ever returns to the Stamford-based promotion for a third time in the future.
