So when Bayley held a wrestling seminar with several other female wrestlers, not only did John Cena show up, but he sat and watched ten women’s matches and spent a whopping eight hours with them. In a post paying tribute, Bayley lauded the 17-time World Champion for his commitment:

One can’t help but praise Cena for the effort that he puts in when it comes to giving back. For example, the men and women who were handpicked by him to compete in the NXT Iron Survivor Challenge were grateful and repeatedly mentioned how much of an honor it was to be selected by him.

One of his handpicked names, Kendal Gray, pulled off a massive upset at Deadline to become the Women’s Iron Survivor in 2025, and she could possibly topple Jacy Jayne to become the new NXT Women’s Champion.
