A popular WWE star praised Bayley following her loss on this past Monday’s edition of RAW. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair defeated The Role Model and Lyra Valkyria in a back-and-forth match to retain the Women’s Tag Team Championships this past Monday night on the red brand.
In an interview with Fox News, Natalya praised Bayley and shared that she was always looking to help others. She noted that the former leader of Damage CTRL loves the wrestling business and is grateful for everything.
“There’s bits and pieces I see of myself in certain women. I think Bayley is very selfless. She’s all about giving back. She loves helping men and women. She’s somebody that just loves to give to the business. Even if she’s in a rut about something, she’s quick to pull herself out of it. She’s very grateful. She’s very grateful for all she has. I gave her a book the other day, and an hour later she’s posting about it and sharing it. She celebrates her friends and I love that. She’s somebody that the locker room looks up to. Vince Russo criticizes WWE’s booking of Bayley
Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently shared his thoughts on Bayley’s gimmick on WWE television.
The former champion currently has a split-personality gimmick on WWE RAW, and Vince Russo isn’t a fan. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s BroDown show, Russo wondered what was left for the company’s creative team to do with the gimmick.
“Where can you possibly go with that? It’s going to go okay, bro. Though we did last week, we got the trigger. Now, when she gets slapped, she turns into Dr. Jekyll. But it’s like, Mac, think about that, I am a writer. There’s no place to go with that, bro. Like, there is absolutely no place to go, zero.” Russo said.
Lyra Valkyria lost the Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Becky Lynch at Money in the Bank 2025 and is now in an alliance with Bayley on WWE RAW. It will be interesting to see what the company has planned for the unlikely duo after they failed to win the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
