The January window saw FC Barcelona make three youth signings in the form of Juwensley Onsten, Hamza Abdelkarim, and Patricio Pacifico, all of whom will be joining the Barça Atletic squad.

Now, providing an update on the club’s pursuit of Bisiwu, SPORT reports that Barcelona’s idea is to make progress over the coming months and leave the operation well advanced in order to complete it in June.

Nothing has been signed, but important steps have already been taken.

Barcelona director Deco and head of scouting Joao Amaral travelled to Belgium last week to hold a meeting with the player’s representatives.

Sources close to the player confirm that the meeting took place and state that, alongside the Catalans, several major European clubs are closely monitoring his progress and are seriously considering the possibility of signing him.
