PSG could be looking for a new goalkeeper this summer as questions mount over Gianluigi Donnarumma’s future.

Although Donnarumma is signed through 2026, the club hasn’t started contract extension talks yet. That delay is stirring up rumors about possible replacements, including a veteran goalkeeper from Barcelona.

According to a previous report from BILD, PSG has been linked to Marc-André ter Stegen if he leaves Barcelona. Other teams reportedly interested are AC Milan, Manchester City, Juventus, and Newcastle United.

SPORT recently reported that Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is planning important talks with ter Stegen this month. The longtime No. 1 seems to be off Flick’s radar but might still finish the final year of his contract with the club.

SPORT reports that ter Stegen will only agree to end his contract with Barcelona if he receives his full salary for the remaining three years. Otherwise, he plans to wait until January before considering a move away from Camp Nou.

Meanwhile, CaughtOffside reported that Chelsea continue exploring their goalkeeper options, with ter Stegen among the names under consideration. The same report notes that Manchester United have also shown interest in the 33-year-old as they evaluate alternatives to Andre Onana.
