WWE star Damian Priest is already suffering from an injury
Damian Priest has been riding a massive wave of success on Friday Night SmackDown. He kicked off his year with a bang, as he was coming off a massive win over his longtime rival, Aleister Black, defeating him clean in an Ambulance Match on the first episode of the blue brand.
Following his win, the former Judgment Day member got into a title contention and got himself qualified for the number one contenders’ Fatal Four-Way bout for the Undisputed WWE Title featuring him, Randy Orton, Trick Williams, and Sami Zayn at Saturday Night’s Main Event XLIII, which he did not win. During the bout, at one point, the announcer revealed that Priest was injured from his match against Black and had stitches in his mouth.
That said, it will be interesting to see what plans the creative team has in store for the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion in the coming weeks, as the Stamford-based promotion is now officially heading closer to kicking off the Road to WrestleMania with the Royal Rumble 2026 premium live event on the horizon.
