According to Dave Scherer during a PWInsider Q&A, Green is still listed internally as the interim champion despite her new shirt labeling her as the “permanent” title holder.
Chelsea Green teamed up with Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton this past Friday night on SmackDown. The duo lost to Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid, and Green injured her eye during the match. The Hot Mess was the inaugural Women’s United States Champion but had never won a major title in the company before her victory at SummerSlam.
