After the arrival of Josué Casimir on a free transfer earlier this month, AJ Auxerre have now secured their second signing of the summer transfer window.
Following their promotion back to Ligue 1 in the 2023/24 season, Christophe Pélissier’s side exceeded expectations in the last campaign, securing a comfortable mid-table finish and even threatening a push for the European places at one point earlier in the campaign.
L’AJA are now preparing for the upcoming campaign. Casimir, whose contract expired at Le Havre AC, is already through the door. He has now been joined by Lamine Sy (22), who, like Casimir, has signed on a free transfer, having run down his contract at Kylian Mbappé-owned SM Caen. The club were relegated from Ligue 2 to the National 1 last season.
Sy, a right-back, played 22 times for Caen in Ligue 2 last season. He has signed a four-year deal with Auxerre.
