The Masters begins in 51 days.
The drive down Magnolia Lane is almost here for the year’s first major championship at Augusta National Golf Club, where the world’s best players will gather again to battle it out for a green jacket. It’s going to be hard to top what happened last year on the famed grounds, with Rory McIlroy capturing his fifth major and the career Grand Slam.

On Tuesday, Augusta National released its annual Masters media guide, previewing changes to the course and highlighting different aspects of the upcoming tournament. Ahead of the 90th Masters, there is only one major course change, and it comes down the stretch.
On the 17th hole, the front of tee box was reduced by 12 yards. In addition, the tee marker was relocated and Masters scorecard changed to 450 yards.
In 2025, the par-4 hole named Nandina played 440 yards and was the fourth-hardest hole during the Masters, playing to a 4.230 scoring average. McIlroy made birdie on the hole to take a one-stroke lead heading to the 18th before a bogey resulted in he and Justin Rose heading to a playoff.
And we all know how that one turned out.

It’s almost time to smell the azaleas, but when it comes to the golf course in 2026, the par-72 layout will play to a length of 7,565 yards.
