We’re about six weeks out from the 2025 Ryder Cup and the two teams are coming together. The Americans and Europeans have each had three players make their respective teams via the automatic qualifying process. The other three on each side will be official in the coming weeks.
Then it’ll be up to U.S. captain Keegan Bradley and European captain Luke Donald to each make their next six picks to round out their 12-man squads.
As for the golf course, the build-out at Bethpage Black has been in full swing.
Grandstands are going up, Ryder Cup signage can be seen all around, the town of Farmingdale’s train station is ready to roll and in the waning weeks ahead of the biennial competition, recreational golfers are still finding valuable tee times and enjoying the course before it closes to the public on Aug. 18.
