Those REKA villagers are restless and hungry, desperately searching for a wandering witch to satiate their hunger, and that’s where you come in. We promise that keeping your neighbors fed brings rewards you don’t want to miss out on.
Here is everything you need to know about cooking recipes in REKA.
All ingredients in REKA: Full recipe list
While Reka isn’t eating these dishes herself, every recipe has its own purpose. Choosing between something sweet or savory depends on the NPCs’ meal request. These villagers spawn near tables, where food can be offered in exchange for rewards and money. Rewards can include money, ingredients, and furniture.
While most recipes correspond to NPC requests, meals can also be sold for extra pocket money so that Reka can purchase exclusive ingredients from village merchants. Ingredients sold by merchants cannot be foraged.
As meals keep the villagers full and happy, they also keep Reka’s pockets filled with cash, allowing you to buy new ingredients or save up for cosmetic items to spruce up your feathery home. Reka can either earn 30 or 60 coins per meal, depending on whether you hit the villagers’ request correctly.
Due to REKA‘s early access release, more recipes will likely be uncovered in the future. The table will be updated when more recipes are discovered, as new ingredients hopefully get added throughout the game’s development.

How to cook in REKA
You can begin cooking shortly after completing Baba Jaga’s long-winded task to summon the Howl’s Moving Castle-esque bird hut. The bread oven that sits at the center of the hut is your cooking station. After rebuilding the floor and adding walls to bring your new home to life (literally), Reka and her bird hut can start their epic cooking and crafting adventure together.
You cannot cook without fire, so be sure to forage wood (unlocked by completing its corresponding main questline) so you can keep the oven flame ablaze. Food is placed in the back of the oven, while food is cooked at the front (opposite the hut entrance). Ingredients can be stored on the shelves directly next to the oven or inside a storage unit, where you can move stock between your inventory and storage. This counts the accumulated total number of ingredients you have in storage, displaying the number in bold next to their icon.
Recipes can be crafted and remembered at the cutting board (in front of the oven). You can refer to your recipe list via the fourth tab if you forget one of your ingredients. New recipes will be saved here.
Recipes are made out of three ingredients. You can mix-and-match ingredients, but these won’t always result in a valid recipe. Every dish has a timer. Use this time to customize your house, move stock out of your inventory, and manage any ongoing side quests while you wait for your meal to cook.
