Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair defended the Women’s Tag Team Championship against Lyra Valkyria and Bayley this past week on WWE Monday Night RAW. While the champions were able to retain their titles, there was an odd moment in the middle of the match.

Valkyria caught Bliss while the latter attempted a crossbody from the top rope. She then executed her Nightwing finisher, but her ponytail was entangled in Bliss’s top, causing it to lift up when she went for the pin. Former WWE Superstar Stevie Richards reviewed the segment on his YouTube channel and reacted to the wardrobe malfunction.

He pointed out how Lyra Valkyria unfortunately ended up in a lot of weird spots despite being athletic and a good worker in the ring:

“But I just see a trend with this girl that she always seems to be in these spots or weird things where the feathers fly. It just looks like a ‘BotchaMania’ episode every time she’s in the ring, and she’s athletic and she looks like she can work but it just seems like she’s always part of what went wrong.”

After the match, the inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Champion was taken out by the Kabuki Warriors, who, interestingly, did not attack Bayley.

Former women’s champion recalls her time in NXT with a surprising revelation

Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss recently appeared on the In The Kliq podcast and revealed that she never made it to an NXT TakeOver card. She teamed up with Blake and Murphy during her time on the black and gold brand, but never held the NXT Women’s Title.

Alexa Bliss also spoke about returning to Full Sail University and her experience there:

“I, unfortunately, never had a TakeOver match. So it kind of felt like my TakeOver. It was fun, and I liked I liked the intimate crowd, and it was fun to kind of be in that setting again because it’s such a different type of crowd. It was cool being able to almost connect with every single person in the audience on some level. For me, that was my NXT takeover, and it was fun. I loved coming back and having a match in that capacity. It was fun to see the NXT talent and how talented they are.”

The Goddess became one of the top heels after her move to the main roster and won both world titles. She is currently in her fourth reign as the Women’s Tag Team Champion.
