Not showing any remorse for his actions, The Ring General continued to parade himself on RAW as the one who sent the GOAT home. This led to AJ Styles confronting Gunther and putting his career on the line in a rematch at Royal Rumble, where The Phenomenal One lost. That said, it now looks like Dragon Lee might be the Austrian’s next victim.

Lee’s current deal with the Stamford-based promotion is set to expire this year. With this in mind, there is a possibility that his contract will not be renewed. If that happens, The Ring General could also beat Dragon Lee and send him packing from WWE.

While this angle is far-fetched and speculative, it is not entirely impossible. Fans will have to wait and see if the former World Tag Team Champion renews his deal with WWE after it expires.

Gunther received a new official nickname on WWE RAW

For years, Gunther was referred to as The Ring General because of his prowess inside the squared circle. Since retiring John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December, the 38-year-old superstar has been referred to as The Career Killer.

On the latest episode of RAW, WWE officially replaced his Ring General moniker on his titantron with the Career Killer. He retired AJ Styles last weekend at Royal Rumble, and it seems more superstars might be added to his list.

That said, it will be interesting to see what plans the creative team has in store for the former world champion in his Career Killer persona going forward.
