Mysterio wasn’t cleared to compete last week on RAW after he suffered a head injury while defending his Mega Championship at Rey De Reyes last weekend. He was originally set to face Penta last week on RAW, but the match was cancelled when it was revealed that he was in concussion protocol.

It was Dragon Lee who stepped up instead and took on Penta last week on RAW, but Adam Pearce recently announced that the match would go ahead this week with the Intercontinental Championship on the line.

Will Dominik Mysterio be able to reclaim his Intercontinental Championship on WWE RAW?

Finn Balor’s betrayal a few weeks ago on WWE RAW was the reason why Mysterio lost his title to begin with, and now that The Judgment Day has kicked him out of the group, he could be able to reclaim the title with the help of his group.

This also opens the door to a potential RAW return for Balor, who hasn’t been seen since he was ousted from the group and attacked by the remaining members. He will likely be watching this title match very closely because he will want to ensure Mysterio isn’t able to reclaim it.

Pearce announced several matches for RAW, including The Vision vs The Usos in a non-title match, whilst Lyra Valkryria and Bayley take on The Kabuki Warriors in a tag team match.
