On Thursday, September 24, PWI revealed its top 500 list, and former AEW World Champion MJF sits at the top. Cody Rhodes is in the second spot, followed by CM Punk in third.

US champion Trick Williams is at number eight, with The Ruler Oba Femi at 9th, and Gunther rounding off the top 10. But the OTC1 is nowhere to be found. He’s not in the top 20 or even the top 50, and has been left out of the list entirely.

At first, this might surprise some fans, but there is a good reason why Roman Reigns didn’t make the cut at all. PWI requires wrestlers to meet the criteria of having more than 10 singles matches in the activity period.

The activity period for the current list was from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2026, and Reigns competed in only six singles matches during this period. He battled Bronson Reed twice last year during the aforementioned period and had four more matches this year before the cutoff.

The Tribal Chief beat CM Punk in the main event of WrestleMania 42 to win the World Championship and then defended the Title successfully twice against Jacob Fatu.

He also overcame Seth Rollins at SummerSlam to retain his Title.

Roman Reigns beat Penta in first WWE TV match in over a year

Last week on RAW, Roman Reigns put his World Heavyweight Championship against Penta in Mexico City.

The match marked Reigns’ first bout on WWE TV since defeating Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat in January 2025.

Both Reigns and Penta put on a high-octane contest that was full of drama and near-falls.

At the end, Penta looked set to capitalize with multiple Superkicks, but Reigns caught him with a Superman Punch before landing a Spear to retain his Championship.
