The Network was a monthly subscription service charging fans $9.99 worldwide. The Network was shut down in the US right after being replaced by Peacock in 2021. In India, the service partnered with Sony, but the partnership came to an end in 2025 after Netflix purchased the streaming rights for the Stamford-based promotion. On April 1, 2026, the Network shut down worldwide.
The Wrestling Juggernaut announced the arrival of the new subscription service 14 days after the Network shut down. On July 31st, Club WWE officially launched.
A major update on upcoming WWE event
The wrestling Juggernaut is scheduled to host its annual Worlds Collide event this upcoming Saturday. There were concerns about how the event will be streamed, as the Stamford-based promotion has not provided any update regarding it. Now, according to the latest report by Andrew Baydala, the event is planned to be streamed live on YouTube.
“A quick update on Worlds Collide- those I spoke with yesterday and today are under the impression the show will air LIVE on YouTube. Obviously things can change but, that is the current direction and distribution of that show on Saturday. #WWE #AEW,” Andrew Baydala tweeted.
It is to be noted that the Stamford-based promotion is yet to make an official announcement regarding the broadcast of Worlds Collide.
Some of the major stars who are scheduled to appear at the event are former Undisputed Champion CM Punk, Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, and 2026 King of the Ring winner Oba Femi. The Lucha Brothers, Rey Fenix and Penta, will also be teaming up for the first time on a live broadcast of the Stamford-based promotion at Worlds Collide.
