It’s continued into the last quarter of the year. Tatum Paxley’s addition has added another tenuous wrinkle to the odd-couple friendship. Flair wants nothing to do with Paxley, especially if she makes a mistake.

Paxley tried to set a positive mood with a special candle ahead of Bliss’s Money in the Bank qualifier on SmackDown. Flair brushed it off by blowing out the flame. She thought Bliss should worry more about winning.

After Alexa left for her match, Paxley said blowing out the flame was bad luck. Flair was mad that she didn’t say that, but she didn’t give Tatum the chance. The Queen could be cursed in any of the next four ways after SmackDown.

#4. The 14-time WWE Champion suffers an unfortunate injury

While most of the names that have already qualified for this year’s Money in the Bank are new and exciting, none are at the point in their careers where they should win the briefcase.

Flair shouldn’t win the case either, but she’s a bigger star and a threat to win any major title opportunity. WWE already announced she’d face Lash Legend and Giulia in another Money in the Bank qualifier next week.

WWE books The Beautiful Madness terribly, so she isn’t winning. Legend is in the same boat as Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, and Jacy Jayne. She’s too new to the main roster.

It isn’t time for any of those names to win a huge opportunity like the Money in the Bank contract. Flair being in the mix makes more sense, but she could suffer an injury before next week’s match. It could come during training since she’s a workout warrior. Cargill or Fatal Influence could attack The Queen backstage.

#3. She misses her flight next week

WWE has used a star missing a flight in storylines before. Chelsea Green missed a defense as Women’s United States Champion because she missed a flight. It was more likely that she didn’t want to put the title on the line.

Writers still used the trope to explain why she wasn’t at the show. Missing a flight has also been used to explain why the Usos weren’t at a show in another country.

Travelling to shows is a part of the game for WWE stars, but the slightest miscue could cause a disaster. Flair could miss her plane somehow, either by oversleeping or getting on the wrong plane.

The curse could cause her to miss next week completely, forcing Paxley to fill in during the match. Flair would blame Tatum for the mistake despite blowing off Paxley’s gesture before Alexa’s qualifier.

#2. Flair loses her qualifier next week

The most straightforward consequence Flair could experience for blowing out Paxley’s candle is that she fails to qualify for Money in the Bank next week. If The Queen simply wins, then what was the point of the candle exchange this week?

Will it be used as an excuse why Bliss failed to qualify? That’s likely since WWE officials hold Flair in much higher regard than Alexa.

If the match comes and goes and The Queen advances, it will feel like a waste of time for viewers. That sort of exchange should lead to consequences for the person who disregarded the gesture.

It’s what happened with The Miz, Kit Wilson, the Judgment Day, and others when ignoring Danhausen’s curses. Keeping logical continuity hasn’t been a strong suit for WWE lately, so it could curse Bliss instead of Flair.

#1. Alexa Bliss turns on both women

The point of a partnership or team is for one or more members to turn on another member at some point. The Judgment Day is a prime example. Factions and tag teams have shelf lives, and Flair’s partnership with Alexa Bliss has already passed its expiration date.

Adding a third person every few months is just a lazy way to prolong things. Officials have used Rhea Ripley, Tiffany Stratton, and Chelsea Green as the third wheel between The Queen and Little Miss Bliss.

Both women’s divisions need reshuffling, so the curse could end up being Bliss turning heel. Flair wants Bliss all to herself. That selfishness means The Queen should turn heel.

Bliss has tried to be the peacemaker, but it’s like pulling teeth with Flair. Because Bliss lost her qualifier, she could turn on Paxley and Flair. That would force the two unlikely allies to team up for the greater good.

Flair turning would be more effective because she’s better as a heel and has experienced much more success. Regardless, officials will probably turn Bliss to prop Flair up even more. The curse could be a way to do it.
