Hurricane had several runs in WWE and is a former Cruiserweight Champion and a former Tag Team Champion. He signed a Legends deal with the promotion back in 2022 and works as a backstage producer in the company. He took to X following this week’s Dynamite to issue a public statement showcasing his support for the 48-year-old star. He responded to Allison Kay’s X post thanking All Elite Wrestling and the company’s President.

It’s great to see people from WWE show support to Rebel despite the rivalry with AEW.

Rebel Tanea appeared on this week’s AEW Dynamite to help out Britt Baker

One of the biggest matches on this week’s Dynamite was a Trios bout between Britt Baker, Persephone and Hikaru Shida against Maya World, Hyan and Thunder Rosa. During the match, Rebel came out to help Baker pick up the win. The crowd in Athens was very loud for Tanea and was overjoyed to see her.

She also appeared on the Waiting Room alongside Baker which featured the new TBS Champion Persephone and Hikaru Shida as guests. After the Trios bout, Baker sat on Rebel’s lap as they headed backstage. Both stars started tearing up after seeing the crowd’s emotional response. The episode also paid tribute to former AEW star Andy “The Butcher” Williams who passed away few days ago.

This week’s episode of Dynamite was arguably one of the most emotional episodes of the show in history.
