According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, the company evaluates its NXT roster once every six months and decides whether to keep them or cut them loose.

“The thing has always been that when you make it to the NXT roster, you have to show improvement every six months. Every six months you get evaluated, and if you’re not showing what they believe to be great improvement, then you’re on the chopping block.” (H/T – Ringsidenews)

Jasper Troy addresses his wrestling future after WWE exit

In an interview with Wrestling Noticias, Jasper Troy opened up about his future, asking fans to keep an eye on him as he prepares to enter the free agency.

“I wanted to be different…. I want to show personality, range, prove that I am a main event attraction 1of1 I look at these next 12 months to show the world who KD is why you need to keep in tune with one of the hottest new free agents on the market.”

He didn’t rule out joining AEW once his 30-day non-compete clause expires. The 28-year-old star has got family to feed and is ready for any opportunities that may come his way.

“I have a family to provide for I’m focused on gaining opportunities to put food on my table and being a profitable income resource for any promotion that shows interest at this point all my energy is working towards gaining consistency with bookers and promoters across the world.”

Jasper Troy’s release came as a surprise since he was a regular fixture on NXT. Last year, he etched his name into the history books by winning the inaugural season of LFG.

WWE hadn’t even scratched the surface of what he was capable of before letting him go.
