Unconnected to the happenings on live TV, Owens took on RAW Superstar and AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio at a Live Event in Calgary recently. As always, Dominik was accompanied by his on-screen partner and Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan. At one point in the match, Morgan took advantage of a distracted referee and hit a Codebreaker on Owens. Check out the clip below:

Kevin Owens addresses his loss to CM Punk

At a previous Live Event in Edmonton, Kevin Owens took the mic to address his heartbreaking loss to The Second City Saint on SmackDown. The former Universal Champion apologized to the fans in attendance and said that he wished he had the gold firmly placed across his waist when he came out here.

“I was hoping (…) when I showed up here tonight, I was hoping that my bag would be a little heavier, and that I’d have a shiny WWE Championship around my wa— well, not around my waist, it wouldn’t fit… over my shoulder.”

Going by how the clash ended, it’s safe to assume Kevin Owens might not be done chasing the Undisputed Title and could seek out a rematch soon. However, Sami Zayn now stands like a roadblock on his path to capturing the gold. Before KO can go after Punk, he must deal with Zayn, or even better, face both performers together in a star-studded three-way match with the title on the line.
