The Austrian star has been a big presence on SmackDown since moving to the blue brand early this summer. He has already competed for the WWE Championship and remains a big name on the brand.

Now, he is ready to give fans a behind-the-scenes look via his YouTube channel. The channel description reads, “Official YouTube channel of pro wrestler Walter Hahn,” and it was launched on August 13th and has over 1.21k subscribers so far.

The first episode is scheduled to premiere on August 20 and is titled “Gunther – Life Of A Pro Wrestler”. It will take fans behind the scenes of the wrestler’s life on the road.

This move represents a significant step in Gunther’s journey as a WWE star. The former Intercontinental champion very rarely posted about his life as a wrestler after joining the promotion.

But over the years, he has begun sharing parts of his personal and professional life on social media, and the launch of his YouTube channel is the latest way through which he plans to give fans a closer look.

Notably, he had dropped a hint on social media, asking his followers to stay tuned in for Thursday.

Gunther beat Matt Cardona on WWE SmackDown

Last week on SmackDown, Gunther interrupted Chelsea Green’s emotional promo with Nick Aldis. The superstar disrespected Green, leading to her husband, Matt Cardona, coming out to the ring.

A heated verbal exchange between them followed, with Cardona attacking the Ring General. Nick Aldis then announced a match between the two stars.

Cardona put on a valiant effort but ultimately fell short, with Gunther making him submit to a two-legged Boston Crab submission.

The Austrian also pulled off double duty at SummerSlam, competing on both nights of the show. On night one, he beat Nick Aldis and then competed in the WWE Championship Number One Contender Fatal Four-Way match on night two.
