The alliance makes sense for now. Both men have a common enemy in Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. However, that does not mean they should trust each other.

Solo has repeatedly shown that alliances can change when his ambitions change. Roman could also attempt to manipulate his former enforcer again. Meanwhile, Knight has something Sikoa may eventually want for himself: the spotlight.

That said, in this article, we look at three reasons why LA Knight should not trust Solo Sikoa.

#3. Solo Sikoa’s History With Alliances

LA Knight should know better than most that Solo Sikoa’s alliances do not always last. Solo initially became one of Roman Reigns’ most reliable allies when he joined The Bloodline. As Roman’s enforcer, Sikoa was expected to follow orders and protect the Tribal Chief.

However, he eventually developed his own ambitions and began leading his own version of The Bloodline. Also, that group eventually fell apart. Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga cut ties with The Street Champion, demonstrating just how unstable his alliances can become.

Solo Sikoa has therefore experienced both sides of betrayal. He has turned against people, and people have turned against him. That history should make Knight cautious.

Their current partnership exists because Roman Reigns is their mutual enemy. However, what happens when Roman is no longer the biggest problem? What happens if LA Knight and Solo want the same championship or opportunity?

There is no guarantee The Street Champion will continue to see The Megastar as an ally. LA Knight should therefore enjoy the partnership while it lasts. However, he should never completely lower his guard. Sikoa has already proven that his loyalties can change with circumstance.

#2. Roman Reigns Could Manipulate Him

Roman Reigns may have failed to bring Solo Sikoa back into The Bloodline on RAW. However, that does not mean he will stop trying. The Tribal Chief understands Solo better than LA Knight does. Roman spent years with Sikoa as his enforcer and knows exactly what motivates him.

That could become a serious problem for Knight. Roman’s first approach was direct. He demanded Solo return to the family and acknowledge him. Sikoa rejected that demand and attacked Reigns instead. The smarter strategy would be to stop demanding obedience and start offering Solo Sikoa something he actually wants.

Solo has spent much of his WWE career trying to prove himself. He was once Roman Reigns’ enforcer, then attempted to establish himself as the leader of his own Bloodline. His actions have consistently suggested that he does not want to remain in somebody else’s shadow.

Reigns could exploit that ambition. Instead of asking The Street Champion to become his enforcer again, the OTC could offer him greater authority. He could tell Sikoa that he deserves a bigger position in the family. Roman could even acknowledge that Solo has become strong enough to stand beside him rather than beneath him. That kind of manipulation could be far more effective.

If Roman Reigns eventually convinces Solo Sikoa that returning to The Bloodline is the best way to achieve his ambitions, LA Knight could suddenly find himself standing next to a man who has switched sides again.

The possibility is even more dangerous because Knight may believe their current alliance has created genuine trust. Roman would love nothing more than to use that trust against him.

#1. Solo Sikoa Could Eventually Want LA Knight’s Spotlight

This could ultimately be the biggest problem. LA Knight has something Solo Sikoa has been trying to establish for years: undeniable individual star power.

Knight is one of WWE’s most recognizable and popular superstars. His catchphrases, charisma, and connection with the audience have made him a major attraction. Meanwhile, Solo has spent much of his WWE career being associated with The Bloodline.

That difference could eventually create resentment. Right now, Sikoa benefits from standing beside Knight. The alliance allows him to remain relevant while fighting Roman. Also, Knight benefits because he has a dangerous ally against The Bloodline.

However, alliances become complicated when both men have individual ambitions. Knight is set to challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship. In a shocking twist, Solo Sikoa could decide that he should be the one to finish his family rival.

This possibility could create the perfect foundation for a future betrayal. Solo does not necessarily need to hate Knight to turn on him. He could simply decide that The Megastar is standing between him and the next level of his career. That would make the betrayal more compelling.

For now, Knight and Solo have a common enemy. Thus, their partnership could be extremely useful. The two men standing together against The Bloodline have already created a fresh direction for RAW.

However, Knight should remember one thing: Sikoa has never been comfortable staying in someone else’s shadow. If Roman Reigns cannot manipulate The Street Champion back into The Bloodline, Solo’s own ambitions could eventually do the job.

And if that happens, LA Knight may discover that his biggest threat was standing beside him all along.
