He has been in the wars with El Grande Americano for a few months now and tensions have been boiling between the two. They were at each other’s throats and it was only a matter of time before they got their hands on each other.

On last night’s AAA episode, El Grande Americano went off on Rey Mysterio’s son and said that they will go head to head for the Mega Championship at Triplemania 34. Triplemania is the biggest event of the AAA calendar and it is fitting that two of its most popular stars will face off against each other for the top title.

Finn Balor praises Dominik Mysterio

The relationship between Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio ended in a bad way as the former was kicked out of the Judgment Day faction. Since then, there has been animosity between the two stars.

However, Balor broke character to praise Dominik. In a recent appearance alongside Nina Drama, the Irishman said that he has nothing but love for his former stable mate. He said:

“Let me say something. Dominik Mysterio is annoyingly cool. The kid- everything he does seems cool, and he does everything effortlessly. Obviously, we’ve had our ups and downs, but I got nothing but love for Dominik Mysterio, and I think he’s going to be a huge, even bigger star than he is currently. I think he’s still on the rise and I’m excited to see where he goes.”

With such a massive endorsement, it is only a matter of time before Dominik becomes a main event star.
