Despite the storyline continuing through SummerSlam, WWE may have quietly slowed down Solo Sikoa’s role in The Bloodline storyline, as The Street Champion didn’t even appear on RAW, while LA Knight confronted Reigns and demanded another one-on-one match, mentioning Money in the Bank as one possible stage. The main reason why the creative team may have slowed down that part of The Bloodline saga is to save it for later.

One possibility is that the storyline could continue until WrestleMania 43, with the arc potentially ending with a dream match between The Rock and Roman Reigns. If that’s the case, WWE could be saving the Bloodline saga for the future, as stretching it for too long could hurt fan interest.

Also, if the family storyline takes up a major part of Reigns’ championship run, the company may be booking other big matches for him first while also building his credibility as a dominant World Heavyweight Champion.

That said, the angle proposed above is speculative, and nothing has been officially confirmed as of now.

WWE Veteran pointed out a big mistake WWE may be making with Roman Reigns

Speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, professional wrestling icon Eric Bischoff drew parallels between nWo and The Bloodline, saying he had made a mistake by growing the classic stable too large and creating multiple offshoots, which diluted its significance, and questioned why WWE was making the same mistake with Roman Reigns’ family stable.

Here’s what he said:

“But like the nWo, which yours truly, you know, I nosedived it by, you know, growing it too big and the, you know, the red and white, the Wolf Pack and derivatives of the original nWo. Too many guys into it diluted the significance of it. Okay, you got me on that. I did that, but because I did that, because it’s so obvious, why is WWE doing the same thing?” he said.

He further said:

“But if they keep doing what I did, which is riding it till it dies, essentially, people will reflect back on The Bloodline storyline and have a less favorable opinion of it,” he added.

It will be interesting to see what plans Triple H and the WWE creative team have in store for Reigns and The Bloodline in the coming weeks.
