Shinsuke Nakamura is back, and he’s not alone. The star is returning to start a battle against the MFTs, making it clear that he has something in mind. He appeared in a vignette in which he made it clear that, while the MFTs may think they have evolved with the arrival of Haku, that was not the case. He said they had past enemies to think about as well, reminding them that he was the King of Strong Style, but more importantly, this time, he would not be alone.
He warned them that they were running out of time and would be reminded they were nothing but pawns by real warriors.
“Tongans. MFTs. You think you’ve evolved. You have a new leader now. But you also have past enemies. you say you need to remember who you are. You are wrong. You need to remember, who I am. The King of Strong Style. The Artist known as Shinsuke Nakamura. I’m back and this time, I will not be alone. I’m starting a war and I’m no longer a one-man army. He and I make it clear who are warriors, and who are just pawns. Here is your warning. You are running out of time.”
The identity of this other enemy of the MFTs is uncertain at this time, but given Finn Balor’s involvement with the group, it could very well be him that Nakamura meant. The return of Haku to WWE has shaken things up, and with fans speculating who Nakamura’s mystery partner could be, there’s a lot that can change heading into next week.
