It could also potentially include newly crowned Women’s Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez and the Tag Team Champions, the Vision, who were left out of the major PLE.

Usually after a major PLE, new feuds are ignited and old ones get an epilogue or reignite on RAW or SmackDown the following week. In this article, we look at 4 potential endings to RAW after SummerSlam.

#4. Roman Reigns gets a new challenger on WWE RAW

Following his triumph over Seth Rollins at SummerSlam, the OTC has closed that chapter and his long-standing history with Rollins as a friend and foe. A new challenger could potentially emerge at the end of this RAW episode for Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship, or Reigns could call someone out from the locker room and issue the challenge himself.

The likes of LA Knight or Solo Sikoa could come out to face Reigns, as they have already defeated the members of his Bloodline faction at SummerSlam in a six-man tag team match. If either star takes a shot at Reigns, the WWE fans will erupt with joy as they are two of the most organically over stars in WWE today.

#3. Chad Gable has a new challenger/storyline

Chad Gable won the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam in his hometown of Minnesota and broke down in tears afterwards. He defeated Penta by forcing the luchador to tap out to a crippling anklelock. He then celebrated with his family in the middle of the ring.

If Reigns kicks off the show, Gable could come out in the final segment and issue a challenge for his Intercontinental Title, as many wrestlers have done in the past. He could also start feuding with one of the superstars who have recently been in the Intercontinental Title picture, such as Je’Von Evans, Rusev, and Ethan Page.

#2. The Bella Twins address their heel turn

The Bella Twins turned heel by unloading on Paige following their six-woman tag match against Fatal Influence at SummerSlam. Nikki Bella, who recently returned from injury, attacked Paige, essentially blaming her for their team’s loss and, in doing so, ended the tag team between Brie Bella and Paige, which began at WrestleMania 42.

Nikki Bella has once again turned heel after her heel turn last year while feuding with Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Title. Brie Bella also kicked Paige a few times, and it seems the sisters had planned to dump their friend. The Bellas could come out on RAW in the main event segment to address the betrayal and could lead to a future feud.

#1. Oba Femi comes out to cut a promo

Oba Femi finally slayed the Beast at SummerSlam. He defeated Brock Lesnar on Night 1 and had the torch passed to him by the WWE Legend.

Femi could come out on RAW in the main event segment after being announced as the “future of WWE” by Lesnar himself and cut a promo on his arrival in the big leagues. This could send shockwaves across the WWE Universe and serve as a warning to many in the locker room that the next big thing has arrived in WWE and is out to climb the mountain.

Femi’s promos have been really intense and memorable, so anything he does on the mic is sure to leave a mark with fans and would be a good way to end RAW. He could even challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship and cash in the title shot he earned for SummerSlam by winning King of the Ring, which he set aside to face Lesnar at the event. It would be interesting to see what happens on the red brand in the next episode.
