Let’s begin without any further delay:

#1. CM Punk to return on RAW?

CM Punk has been away from WWE programming since RAW after WrestleMania 42. The Best in the World is rumored to return soon, with reports stating he could work a feud with Cody Rhodes upon his comeback. WRKD Wrestling recently posted a video, which again hints that the Chicago star will be returning on the July 7 edition of RAW, possibly after the match between Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn.

Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn will clash for the Undisputed WWE Championship on RAW, and many believe that the American Nightmare could reclaim the title on the show. Punk either will face Rhodes for the title or could cost him the gold to begin the feud between the two, if the reports about his program with Cody are indeed true.

#2. Kevin Owens is working with two young WWE prospects

Kevin Owens has not donned his wrestling boots in over a year, as he has been on the sidelines due to neck injuries. However, the former Universal Champion has remained associated with the global juggernauts in different roles, one of which includes coaching new prospects in WWE LFG.

The Prizefighter made an appearance on a recent edition of LFG, where he was seen working with two young prospects, PJ Vasa and Sirena Linton. KO was guiding the two through training and valuation.

#3. Adam Pearce confirms major name’s return to RAW

Monday Night RAW this week is set to be a loaded event, with three title matches announced for the show. Adam Pearce previewed the show last night, where he announced that Sol Ruca will be returning to the red brand, where she will defend her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Raquel Rodriguez:

“Happy Sunday, everybody. Adam Pearce here at The Friendly Confines to let you know that Monday Night RAW is live tomorrow night from Sweet Home, Chicago. And I am calling it Championship Monday. Three championships [will be] on the line. Sol Ruca will defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Raquel Rodriguez,” Pearce said.

Pearce also announced a World Tag Team Championship rematch between The Street Profits and Vision, and we will also see the Undisputed WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn. CM Punk is also rumored to make his much-awaited return on the show, while the World Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns, is unlikely to make an appearance.

#4. Sheamus’ WWE departure officially confirmed

Sheamus has been the talk of the town since he removed all WWE references from his social media account, following which it was reported that the Celtic Warrior is set to leave the global juggernaut upon the expiry of his contract. WWE has moved the former World Champion to the alumni section on their website, which confirms the reports that Sheamus is indeed no longer a part of the company.

Since Sheamus is reportedly leaving the Stamford-based promotion upon the expiry of his contract, he is free to show up anywhere he wants and does not have to sit idle for 90 days due to a non-compete. AEW star MJF has already teased a match against Celtic Warrior, and it seems like Tony Khan’s company could be the veteran’s next destination.
