The Beast Incarnate rained on the Ruler’s parade, giving him a nasty low blow and an F5 to set up a trilogy heading into the Biggest Party of the Summer.

Oba Femi wasted no time throwing out a challenge, which Brock Lesnar accepted, but under one condition. The 48-year-old icon wants to culminate their months-long rivalry inside Hell in a Cell.

Later in the show, Adam Peare made their chapter III official for SummerSlam in Minneapolis. When asked about his impending title shot, he said he’s going to forgo his World Championship opportunity at WWE SummerSlam and finish things with Lesnar first.

This opened the door for Seth Rollins to challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship, a headliner almost 14 years in the making.

Many fans wanted to see Oba Femi pull double duty at the Biggest Party of the Summer, but that doesn’t seem to be happening because both the aforementioned matches have been made official.

During the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained why the Triple H-led creative decided to cancel Roman Reigns vs. Oba Femi match.

“They could put Oba over Roman. They could’ve sat here and gone, ‘We’ve got to make a new star. Let’s put Oba over Roman Reigns at SummerSlam.’ They could’ve done it. But their mentality is just that if he’s the guy, we want to make the guy… This is a weird thing. Before, if you wanted to make the guy, you figured out the right time to make the guy and did it.”

The wrestling journalist said Oba Femi will now get his title shot at WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia next year. According to sources, WWE doesn’t want to book this mega match on a B-level pay-per-view.

“Now, you have to do it at WrestleMania because if it’s SummerSlam, it’s not strong enough. If it’s on a B pay-per-view, heavens no. So they’ve created this weird caste system. Again — and I’m thinking the same way — sitting there going, ‘Oh God, Roman Reigns and Oba… we’ve got to save that for WrestleMania. We can’t do it now.’ That is the mentality. You get him over. The idea is he’s an unbeatable monster, and we take our time to get to WrestleMania.” (H/T – RingsideNews)

It will be interesting to see if the OTC will still be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion by the time next year’s WrestleMania rolls around.
