Chad Gable seems to finally be getting his flowers after the unmasking

It seems like Chad Gable is finally beginning to get his flowers after the huge unmasking, where he was (un)surprisingly revealed to be the original El Grande Americano. It remains shocking that an American and a German went to Mexico and created one of the hottest feuds in all of wrestling, orchestrated by names like The Undertaker and Jeremy Borash. The latter, in particular, seems to get less credit despite being a respected mind in the wrestling business for decades.

Either way, this is about Chad Gable. After the unmasking, the crowd in Monterrey instantly gave him their flowers and a huge thank you for the incredible story that he had. It was a heartfelt moment where he reintroduced himself and even showcased his family before letting fans know that he would return to AAA – he just doesn’t know when.

JBL, who was on commentary, went to Busted Open Radio to give him his flowers and said that, in his opinion, Gable is the best wrestler in the world, and it isn’t even close. JBL is unlikely to be the only one to feel this way, as many have long considered Gable to be one of the most underutilized stars on the entire WWE roster.
