In a recent post on Instagram, Santino Marella shared a picture. The photo had him standing beside Bestya Wrestling CEO Alessandro Maria Bosio and Carlito. Interestingly, the picture was clicked in Turin, Italy. It should be noted that this is also the location of the Clash in Italy PLE.

PLE’s have often resulted in surprise appearances, and the same may happen as Clash in Italy. With TNA and WWE collaborating, TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella has made appearances on NXT. He also wrestled Ethan Page last year with the North American Championship at stake, but he was unable to pick up the win.

Speculation about his appearance at the upcoming PLE ramped up after a tweet on X by the star.

Responding to a fan poster which had Santino Marella appearing at Clash in Italy, the former Intercontinental Champion stated:

“It would be a full circle moment for sure,” Marella tweeted on X.

While he is generally seen as a comic character in the Stamford-based promotion, he is no slouch in the ring either. If he does appear at the upcoming PLE, it will be interesting to see if he gets physically involved or is restrained in a non-physical segment. As of now, only time will tell if he will grace the show with his presence.
