Later, WWE’s social media post solidified that Will’s name has been changed to Mason Rook.

Mason Rook (Kroos) attacked D’Angelo again this week, but even Tavion Heights got hit in the process. As Tavion competed with Tony in the main event of the show, and after the latter’s win, they were going for a handshake. Rook came from the back and sandwiched both into the corner, and later slammed the champion on Heights.

John Cena’s post about Will Kroos was quickly turned into a chant on NXT

John Cena is very high on Will Kroos as he knows what the British wrestler is capable of. Last week, after the 29-year-old’s NXT debut, Cena took on X to reply to WWE’s post about that electric debut. Even then wrote the chant itself and backed Kroos.

“HE’S BIG…. HE’S BAD…. HE’LL BODYSLAM YOUR DAD!!!”

What’s fascinating is that the NXT crowd also picked it up this week. They chanted the big, bad line along with “WILL KROOS” to show their support. Although it seems the chant existed before, having the crowd in NXT accustomed to it from the second week of Mason Rook in WWE is even more exciting.
