The England winger did exceptionally well to sit Raúl Jiménez down on the playing surface before darting into the box by the endline before putting an inch-perfect ball across the face of Bernd Leno’s goal for Viktor Gyökeres to tap home.
For the Swede, it was his 13th Premier League goal of the season as he continues to go from strength to strength, and can now boast 20 goals across all competitions in his first season at the club, alongside Erling Haaland and Igor Thiago as the only players to do so.
As for Saka, his role in the opener included the benefit of fine margins in the final action on the right-hand side of the Gunners’ attack, which may prove vital as they look to secure Premier League honours for the first time in over 20 years.
