After his loss, Brock Lesnar took off his gloves and boots, leaving them at the center of the ring. Lesnar was also emotional, hugging Paul Heyman, who was in tears. He waved goodbye to the fans inside the Allegiant Stadium, prompting speculation that he retired.

In the video below, Lesnar was walking off the stage to the tune of “Thank You, Lesnar” chants from the crowd. He responded with some kind words for the WWE Universe.

“Thank you, guys. Thank you. Appreciate you guys,” Lesnar mumbled.

WWE didn’t confirm if Brock Lesnar retired or not. They asked their fans what’s next for The Beast after his loss to Oba Femi. It will be interesting to see if Lesnar or Paul Heyman makes it official this Monday on Raw.

Lesnar’s retirement had been widely speculated earlier this year, though it was rumored to be happening at SummerSlam in Minnesota at the hands of Gunther.

Is Brock Lesnar retired?

After what happened at WrestleMania 42, there’s speculation whether the retirement was official or not. Michael Cole was very careful about how he worded what happened with Brock Lesnar, which was pointed out by WRKD Wrestling on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Based on Fightful Select’s report, Lesnar’s retirement might not be known among people backstage. Many thought that The Beast would call it a career at SummerSlam in August and not at WrestleMania 42.

Due to Paul Heyman’s recent alliance with Gunther, Lesnar’s retirement is still subject to a lot of questions. Oba Femi is now The Next Big Thing, but The Career Killer adding The Beast to his list of names would make his legacy grow even more.

Gunther has already retired Goldberg, John Cena and AJ Styles, so adding Lesnar would make him an even bigger heel.
