Apart from these three returns, the night was full of surprises and returns, starting with Linda McMahon returning alongside all three daughters of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to induct her. Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman returned on screen to induct Dennis Rodman. The Good Brothers returned to induct AJ Styles into the 2026 Hall of Fame.

Legend explains the difference between the AEW and WWE versions of Cody Rhodes

Back when The American Nightmare was signed with AEW, Arn Anderson served as his manager and was a vital part of his evolution.

Last year, the legend was interviewed by Denise Salcedo on her YouTube channel, where, at one point, the AEW legend discussed the difference between the All Elite version of Cody Rhodes and his WWE version.

Here’s what the icon had to say:

“He had full control with his destiny in AEW. WWE is very strict and very regimented. There’s a pecking order of people in charge. With a new company, TKO, buying it, it’s become a mega company if that’s possible. A billion dollar company. I just think you have got a lot more hands-on with Tony Khan in AEW than WWE and I don’t know if that will ever change,” said Anderson.

That being said, with Rhodes all alone against Randy Orton and Pat McAfee, and with Anderson in Las Vegas at the World Wrestling Entertainment compound, it will be interesting to see whether he appears to help The Prodigal Son at WrestleMania.
