Suddenly, pyro erupted from the turnbuckle, startling the Pretty Deadly member and causing him to lose his balance. Seizing the opportunity, the former AEW star delivered a powerful big boot to Kit, securing the victory.

After the incident on SmackDown, Kit Wilson shared an update on his health. He commented on a video posted by WWE on its official X/Twitter account, which showed Danhausen cursing him to steal the victory.

“I’m in medical right now. Why are you posting this and trying to colab with me?😡,” Wilson wrote.

While The Pretty Deadly member’s comment could be part of the storyline, it will be interesting to see if he shows up next week on the go-home edition of the blue brand before WrestleMania 42.

Danhausen cost The Miz and Kit Wilson a WWE Tag Team Title match on SmackDown

Last week, The Miz and Kit Wilson competed against Damian Priest and R-Truth for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

During the match, Danhausen was supposed to curse The Miz. However, the latter moved the referee in front of him as a safety measure. The A-Lister was in a strong position to win the title, but before the referee could count to three, his arm cramped. This prevented the pinfall.

Immediately afterward, Damian Priest entered the ring and hit the South of Heaven to secure the victory. The outcome set the stage for the one-on-one match between Wilson and Danhausen this week, and the latter stole the victory.
