Lee’s husband, CM Punk, opened this week’s program to deliver another fiery promo. During the segment, a young spectator was seen holding a sign that read “AJ Lee #1 Fan.” The gesture caught the 39-year-old legend’s attention, and she shared her reaction.

On X, Lee quoted a post showcasing the sign and made a promise to the young fan.

“I saw her on the monitor backstage and screamed, she was so cute. We’ll meet one day and trade glasses.”

AJ Lee will wrestle her first WrestleMania match in 11 years this month

AJ Lee returned to WWE last year after a 10-year absence to help her husband, CM Punk, in his feud against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. At Wrestlepalooza, the two power couples squared off in a mixed tag team match. Punk and The Geek Goddess emerged victorious, but the issues between the two sides didn’t end there.

Lee made Becky Lynch tap out in the 2025 Women’s WarGames bout before costing her the Women’s Intercontinental Title. Earlier this year, at Elimination Chamber, the three-time Divas Champion defeated The Man to capture the workhorse title for the first time in her career. The loss didn’t sit well with Lynch, and she brutally assaulted her rival on an episode of RAW, demanding a rematch.

At WrestleMania 42, Lynch and AJ Lee will compete in a rematch for the coveted gold. The bout will mark The Geek Goddess’ first bout at ‘Mania in 11 years. Lee’s last match at The Show of Shows came in 2015 when she and Paige (Saraya) defeated The Bella Twins in tag team action.
